The hip joint flexion stop can be adjusted to increase step length.
Function: Locked
Hip joint is locked and can be opened for sitting.
Function: 2-D / 3-D pelvic rotation
The hip joint permits internal and external rotation. This rotation represents movement of the trunk in relation to the leg during stance phase. The leg remains aligned in the walking direction. This combination of movements enables a greater step length.
Function: 3-D with abduction
The hip joint permits 12° of abduction. This increases stability when standing and improves comfort during sitting.
